For qualified professionals with a job offer in Germany. Requires recognition of foreign qualifications. Covers all occupational groups with vocational training or university degrees.

For highly qualified non-EU professionals with a university degree and a job offer meeting the minimum salary threshold (€45,300 or €41,041.80 for shortage occupations). Fast-tracks permanent residency.

Allows qualified professionals to enter Germany for up to 6 months to search for employment. Must have recognised qualifications and sufficient funds. Cannot start work during job search period.

New points-based visa allowing qualified professionals to come to Germany for up to 1 year to search for work, even without a prior job offer. Minimum 6 points required.

For students accepted into a German university or preparatory course (Studienkolleg). Many public universities are tuition-free. Part-time work of up to 20 hours/week is permitted.

For family members of individuals residing in Germany. Spouses, children, and dependent parents of German residents or citizens can apply to join them.
