Australia Subclass 482 TSS β€” how strict is the skills assessment for IT roles?

I'm a software engineer with 6 years of experience (4 at a product company, 2 freelance). My employer in Melbourne is sponsoring me for a 482 TSS visa under ANZSCO 261313 (Software Engineer). HR told me the skills assessment via ACS is straightforward for my profile, but I've been reading mixed reports online about people with similar experience getting requests for additional evidence. Has anyone gone through ACS assessment recently? How long did it take and did they ask for anything beyond the standard employment letters and degree certificate?
